India and Pakistan have started the tournament with a bang. India defeated UAE by 234 runs. Batting first, 433 runs were scored, in which Vaibhav's innings of 171 runs surprised everyone. The UAE team was reduced to 199 runs.

Pakistan also left no stone unturned. 345/3 was scored against Malaysia—Sameer Minhas scored 177 not out, and Ahmed Hussain scored 134 runs. Then the bowlers bowled out Malaysia for 48 runs and gave a big win of 297 runs.

Group A consists of India, Pakistan, the UAE, and Malaysia. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal are in Group B. The top 2 teams from both groups will go to the semi-finals. Final on 21 December.
